Life and Legacy Program Plan for Torah Links of South Jersey

Mission Statement

The mission of Torah Links of South Jersey is to raise Jewish awareness and to foster an appreciation of our rich Jewish heritage. Torah Links pursues its mission through providing myriad meaningful Jewish experiences; dynamic classes, captivating lectures, home and office studies, one-on-one learning, exciting social events, weekend seminars, Shabbatonim, family outings, after-school initiatives, and holiday programs; and through building a strong and unified Jewish community that will serve as an inspiration, model and resource for how to live an empowered Jewish life. Torah Links activities are geared to Jews of all backgrounds and age groups and are conducted in an open atmosphere of mutual respect.

Case Statement

Since its founding in 1998, Torah Links of South Jersey has been committed to giving Jewish people from all walks of life an opportunity to explore and find meaning in their rich Jewish heritage. As a result of these efforts, hundreds of people are more deeply engaged in Jewish life; growing to appreciate what Judaism has to offer and filled with joyful Jewish pride. Many are choosing to implement Jewish customs, practices and values in their daily lives. This renaissance of inspired Jewish life is helping to fuel an increased vibrancy in the South Jersey Jewish Community.

The Torah Links Legacy Circle is a group of dedicated and committed individuals who want to guarantee that every Jewish person will have the opportunity to be introduced to and inspired by a welcoming and meaningful Judaism for many years to come. By establishing a legacy through a bequest or planned gift, they have planted the seeds for future generations, doing their part to make sure that the South Jersey Jewish community remains strong and vibrant beyond their own lifetimes.
